The Outside Works department is working on a public education campaign to reduce outdoor water use in 2018. The program includes visiting households and reviewing underground irrigation systems for efficiency, and generally attending public events to raise awareness of water conservation.
The successful candidate will assist the department with implementation of the outdoor water conservation program including reviewing water use data, identifying potential areas to target outreach efforts, and performing the outreach activities.
Must have completed at least two years in an undergraduate or college program in landscaping, horticulture, geography, biology or related program, and be returning to school in the fall or have graduated in the current year.
Hours of work for this position are 40 hours per week.
