Our surrounding natural environment in Grand Forks is full of mountains, lakes, and rivers that provide the perfect setting for fun and exciting outdoor activities such as downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, golf and a multitude of water sports. Grand Forks boasts an extensive network of single and multi use trails for walking, hiking, mountain biking, ATVing and horseback riding.

  • Aquatic Center

    A leisure style public pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness center with many programs.

  • Grand Forks Arena

    Minor hockey, Junior B hockey, local figure skating club, public skating, men’s hockey.

  • Curling Rink

    Local curling club hosts many bonspiels

  • Skateboard Park

    Located adjacent to the Arena

  • Ball Diamonds

    There are three ball parks: Dick Bartlett (four diamonds) for little league & slow pitch; Angus MacDonald Park (1 diamond) for fast ball; and James Donaldson Park (1 diamond with lights). James Donaldson park is used for the yearly Grand Forks International Baseball Tournament.

  • Bowling Alley

    Six lane – five pin bowling.

  • Fitness Center

    Three weight and fitness centers

  • Seniors Centers

    Two centers located near City Park – Senior’s Centre Branch #68 and the Slavonic Seniors Centre.
