This is a PUBLIC NOTICE, pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter, of the intention of the City of Grand Forks to sell a Highway Commercial zoned property at the corner of Central Avenue and 25th St.
The property is legally described as:
Lot A, Plan KAP83258, District Lot 520, S.D.Y.D.
Council has deemed this property as excess to the needs of the City and wishes to dispose of the property.
The lowest price that will be accepted for the property is $275,000 plus any applicable taxes. Property Purchase Tax will be payable at the time of conveyance. The Purchaser will be responsible for all costs of transferring the title of the property. The lowest or any offer may not necessarily be accepted.
Sealed offers, identifying the prospective purchaser’s name, address, offer price and a development proposal, together with a certified cheque, or other form of payment acceptable to the City, in the amount of 10% of the offer price, representing payment of a deposit, will be accepted at City Hall, 7217 – 4th Street, P.O. Box 220, Grand Forks, B.C., until the close of business at 4:00 p.m., on November 3, 2017.
