Grand Forks residents can learn about the ins and outs of the residential water meter installations and meet the contractors at an upcoming open house.
Neptune Technology Group (Canada) Ltd. is contracted by the City of Grand Forks to supply and install the residential water meters and will be on hand to discuss the process, how installations will work and answer any questions. As well, Council members and staff will be available to also answer questions and discuss next steps.
The open house will be held:
Tuesday, July 22
3pm to 7pm
Seniors Centre Hall at City Park, Grand Forks
“We are excited to be moving forward with Neptune Technology Group. The open house is an opportunity for residents to meet company representatives, learn more about the gradual installation process and hear about next steps,” says Mayor Brian Taylor. “There will also be information on how the mock billing will work and general water conservation.”
Neptune is well known for their work in helping cities across Canada with water conservation, having completed more than 1.3 million water meter installations in Canada and more than 50 projects in B.C. alone, including communities such as Kamloops, Summerland, Peachland, Oliver and West Vancouver.
