Starting April 22, 2014, work will be performed at the Valley Heights Booster pump station in order to improve flow to our Water Distribution System. These improvements will take three days to complete.
For the Residents of Valley Heights, the City requests that while work is being carried out water use be kept to a minimum from 6:00 a.m. April 22, 2014 until 3:00 p.m. April 24, 2014. Conservation of water is key during this time to maintain water reserves in our High Zone Reservoir as replenishment will not be readily available.
Residents can help by avoiding:
- • Outside wash downs such as porches, driveways, vehicles.
- • Plant watering including lawns.
- • Pool, hot tub filling.
- • Extensive laundry etc.
Light domestic use and conservation while work is being carried out will assist in a smooth process.
The work schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, April 22 Water conservation in effect.
Wednesday, April 23 Water conservation in effect.
Thursday, April 24 Water conservation in effect.
Thank you for your cooperation as we move forward to improve our Water System.
