1. Objective

The City of Grand Forks is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to preform vegetation management in the North Ruckle habitat area located east of 2nd street, south of the Kettle River. The site includes approximately 20,000 newly planted trees and shrubs established in 2023/2024, across an approximately 40,000 m2 site. This project includes Mowing and trimming of the competing vegetation between plantings. Care is required to protect young trees and shrubs.

2 Schedule

  • Response must be submitted to [email protected] before July 24th, 2025 @ 11:00:00 a.m. PST
  • A site visit is mandatory
  • A group meeting will be held at 9:00:00 a.m. PST on July 17th, 2025*

*Contractors unable to attend the scheduled meeting must contact the project manager at least 24 hours in advance to request an alternate site visit time.

Flood Mitigation Program Work Package 2 Segment C Kettle River Dike Construction

The City of Grand Forks invites Proposals from qualified contractors to construct the Work Package 2, Segment C dike and related flood mitigation works in support of the City’s Flood Mitigation Program.

Interested Proponents must submit by email the Registration Letter (Schedule A) to [email protected] to receive a link to Reference Material and the invitation to a Mandatory Proponents’ meeting. The deadline for Registering will be 30 minutes after the start of the Mandatory Proponents’ meeting at 9am on March 12th; however, Proponents are encouraged to register as early as possible to ensure an invitation is received to the meeting and to gain early access to essential Reference Material. Registrations received after the deadline will not be accepted.
