Campfire Prohibition Rescinded for Southeast Fire Center
/in Emergency Services News & Updates, Emergency Services Public Services /by Rich PicheEffective at 12 p.m. (noon) PDT on Monday, August 26, 2024, campfires will be allowed in the Southeast Fire Centre. Category 2 and Category 3 open burning, as defined in the Wildfire Regulation, remain prohibited across the entire Southeast Fire Centre.
In addition, the Prohibition Area restricts the following (as per the Wildfire Act, Section 12):
