DOG LICENSING
DOG LICENSES ARE AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF GRAND FORKS ONLY. IF YOU LIVE IN A RURAL AREA, PLEASE CONTACT THE REGIONAL DISTRICT OF KOOTENAY BOUNDARY FOR DOG LICENSING INFORMATION.
The City of Grand Forks has partnered with DocuPet to provide a simple online solution for dog owners. Every registered dog now receives a free tag linked to their online profile, plus access to HomeSafe®, a free 24/7 lost pet service to help reunite lost dogs quickly.
Registered dogs get a tag linked to a secure online profile with our licensing partner, DocuPet. Pet owners can fill out their dog’s online profile with important details like, care instructions, and contact information. This helps ensure dogs are cared for and quickly reunited if they go missing.
By licensing your dog, you’re taking an important step in responsible pet ownership and contributing to a safer, healthier community!
